It was a contest to see who could give out more of taxpayers money.


It was a debate about how big each could make the Gov't.


Amongst other things.


The Dems have cornered the market on non-working people, imo. Some who are just plain lazy. But they have succeeded in making people feel like victims. They have succeeded in making people feel 'entitled to' benefits, etc, and that THE DEMS are the ones to give out free stuff.


John Kennedy saying "Ask not what your country can do for you,...Country" is no longer the Dem Party. Its the exact opposite. So sad, imo.

And the "give them all our money or they will leave" is a terrible scare tactic that I would think republicans would feel ashamed of trying to pedal. Wouldn't think they'd be cool portraying themselves as cowards who welcome being blackmailed for jobs.
