Maybe he thought he'd be arrested again?

    Problems:

    1a) Lombardi
    1b) Commitment to Joique Bell
    2) O-line
    3) Stafford
    4) Defensive pressure

This offense sucks. Lombardi is not adjusting to the talent we have and is trying to force the Saints scheme. That might lead to an average offense, but they keep running Joique Bell who clearly doesn't have any burst. Bring on Zenner, for real. Stafford has no time to throw downfield or let plays develop. When he does have time, he is solid. That being said, still can't stare down receivers.

All that being said, the defense is about how I expected it to be going into the year. Glad to see the Lions went away from Tulloch on passing downs quickly and Bynes has filled the void nicely. Slay had a bad game yesterday, but the second deep ball you wouldn't ask anything more of him. The defense has adjusted to Levy being out, while the offense has not adjusted its awfulness at all... at all.

This offense isn't a good fit for Calvin and Stafford, and when we're pouring $30M a year of cap space into those two guys, something's gotta change here.

Long story short, I don't see us making the playoffs anymore. We really needed those first two games to have a good shot. I hope I'm wrong.
