Convince MoTown to watch the NBA again

The year is 2005. The Pistons are defending NBA champions due to hard nose defense and a team mentality. This does not sit well with Dictator David Stern, who would rather see scores in the 140s and one-on-one-on-one-on-one gameplay. So he comes up with a brilliant plan: make defense illegal and let free throws determine games. MoTown's NBA viewing decreases every year until 2010 rolls around, in which he has watched a grand total of 10 minutes of the NBA in the last three years.

So here's the deal - MoTown loves basketball. He wants to love the NBA again. He wants to enjoy sitting down with a beer and watching the Pistons in the cold winter months. So please help convince MoTown that the NBA is going to be worth his time again.

even if you don't buy into the optimism surrounding the pistons....stern is retiring in February. that alone should give you hope for the future and reason to watch again.

Funny thing is, I actually enjoyed watching the Pacers this year. Unfortunately, David Stern didn't.

I'm probably buying the package this year, first time in about 5 years. We're still probably a 40 win team at best but at least it should be interesting.
