There's two numbers for Vicodin -- the first is how much hydrocodone there is in it, and the second is how much Tylenol/acetaminophen there is. It's the first that too much of will make you drool. It's the second that you want to be careful of because your liver wants to avoid too much Tylenol per day. Your ideal doctor will prescribe you stuff with high hydrocodone and low Tylenol, so you can supplement the Tylenol with over-the-counter generic stuff.
