Jackie Butler got paid and got fatter. Sometimes that shit happens, especially if you're hanging with Eddy Curry and Jerome James.

#Pistons coach Lawrence Frank said Jose Calderon will start once VISA issues are solved.

I'm surprised there'd be VISA issues, given that he plays most of his games in the U.S.

If there's residency issues, he should camp out in Windsor-tucky.

So, no real reason to watch tonight then?

    Besides Drummond.

So he was on a Canadian work visa, and now that he has a US employer, the pistons, he would have to get the US work visa before he can work for his US employer.

Yeah, but he'd have to have a U.S. work permit to play games -- work -- in the U.S.

Thought it was hilarious when Kelser said tonight that (paraphrase) "many people around the league think the Pistons went after Calderon with an eye on the #8 playoff spot".

Calderon makes Pistons offense watchable again, a pass first guard who knows how to run an offense is a real joy after watching guys like Stuckey trying to play PG for the last few years. I am sure Dumars will resign him, he should most definitely.
Also not having Tay and his isolation bullshit around is another improvement by subtraction. Singler is the new glue guy, he is just a smart basketball player. I dont know if its enough to be a starting SF, but does really well for a rookie in the NBA.
