    2013 NBA Draft

Who's the consensus #1 pick in the draft?

I need to know who to start following.

Cody Zeller. Nerlens Noel has an outside shot.

6 of the top 7 prospects are all big men. The lone stud scoring wing of the group is shabazz Mohammed, who from all accounts seems like the kind of player that will be very good but sign with LA or Miami ten seconds after he becomes a free agent. He's obsessed with the spotlight.

10 of the top 15 are Cs, PFs or SFs...

Ideally we get a quality big man to team with Monroe and Drummond... and if we can get one cheap via the Draft it's better than spending huge money in free agency
    Rise like Lions after slumber,
    In unvanquishable number -
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.

Not really going to go father than the top ten this early into the game. Even as the top 10 goes, probably half of them won't stay there by the end of march.

Every year someone comes out of nowhere to sneak into the top 5. Last year it was Thomas Robinson. The year before it was Derrick Williams. I'm sure someone new will be in the mix this season, with no clear cut dominant stars.

Figures that we will have our highest pick with no obvious superstar out there. We will probably win the lotto.

    2013 draft and prospects

why isn't this thread here yet?

prospects I like so far are Noel and uhhh.... yeah. him.

If Noel is available when the Pistons pick I'd take him and trade Monroe. With Noel and Drummond no one is scoring against Detroit. It would instantly bring back the under 70 chants provided there's more than fucking parking cones on the perimeter.

I don't really quite understand the Shabazz Muhammed hype as of right now, but i ain't seen too much of the dude either.why does everyone appear to be in love with the kid?

Actually, this team sucks so badly, two draft/lottery threads are warranted.
