    Trade Challenge #1

Come up with the most realistic trade package that you can with these outgoing players:

    Stuckey
    Daye
    Charlie V

You can include a maximum of two other teams besides Pistons.

    Go?

How many other Pistons can we include?

Cause I don't think any team would take Nova on his own

Daye and Nova as a package... to Orlando for Hedo. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=c85sze8

Or just give them Daye for part of one of their trade exceptions and a second round pick http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d4xsaw6

2015 second round draft pick from L.A. Lakers
The L.A. Lakers' own 2015 2nd round draft pick to Orlando (Top-40 Protected). If The L.A. Lakers' own 2015 2nd round pick is within the top-40 selections, then The L.A. Lakers' obligation to Orlando shall be extinguished. [Denver - L.A. Lakers - Orlando - Philadelphia, 8/10/2012]

This, folks, is why WTFDetroit is the best board on Earth. I feel bad for the people who are missing out.

Assuming the Nova + Daye for Hedo deal is accepted I only have to trade Stuckey now... yes?

Stuckey to Atlanta for Devin Harris and Brooklyn's 2017 second round pick - same exact salary so no need to post the checker ID

And assuming the Daye + Nova deal for Hedo isn't accepted:

Stuckey + Nova to Atlanta for Devin Harris, Johan Petro and Anthony Morrow http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=c8dptw6

So... have I completed the task or do I need to trade Nova on his own?

Saved for later reference: we can take back as little as $6,375,000 if I'm trading Nova on his own

Orlando do the Daye/Nova deal to clear Hedo off the books... yes they take back Nova but this move saves them $3 mil... and they get a "free" look at Daye to see if the guy is worth a roster spot

Taking Daye for a TPE = "free" look at Daye to see if he's worth a roster spot.

Hawks dump Harris for Stuckey to "finish" their backcourt. This would give them Teague, Williams and Stuckey as a 3 guard rotation... or they can dump Stuckey after next season depending on how they go attracting players this off-season with the cap space they'll have.

IF they took Nova and Stuckey for Harris, Petro and Morrow they postpone their cap space for a better free agent class

    Or how about this:

We trade Maggette (cap space), Daye (free look), Stuckey and Nova to Chicago for Boozer and Deng (and a TPE = to Daye's salary)

The Bulls do this to dump their amnesty candidate (Boozer) and get out from under Deng's expensive contract.

They'd have Maggette, Daye, Belinelli, Nazr, Radmanovic and Nate Robinson expiring this off-season... and Stuckey, Nova, Rip expire next off-season... wipe the slate almost clean and build around Rose, Gibson and Noah... maybe attracting another superstar to team with Rose and build a "super" team in Chi Town

We get Boozer to team with Monroe and Drummond.. and Deng to take over one wing position.
