    Phoenix Suns Info

    For future use... maybe

2013 first round draft pick from Minnesota
Minnesota's own 2013 1st round pick to Phoenix (Top-13 Protected in the 2013 NBA Draft, top-13 protected in 2014, top-12 protected in 2015 and top-12 protected in the 2016 NBA Draft). However, if Minnesota is entitled to receive Memphis' own 1st round pick (top 14 protected in the 2013 Draft, top 14 protected in 2014, top 14 protected in 2015, and top 14 protected in the 2016 Draft) via Houston, then Minnesota shall convey the less favorable of the two picks to Phoenix. [Minnesota-New Orleans-Phoenix, 7/27/2012]

2013 first round draft pick from L.A. Lakers
The L.A. Lakers will send the least favorable of their own 1st round pick (top-14 protected), Cleveland's own 2013 1st round pick, Sacramento's own 1st round pick (top-13 protected) and Miami's 2013 1st round pick to Phoenix. If the L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick is within the top-14 selections, Phoenix will automatically receive the L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick. [L.A. Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012]

2013 second round draft pick from Denver
Denver's own 2013 2nd round pick to Phoenix via The L.A. Lakers (top 40 protected in the 2013 Draft). If Denver's own 2013 2nd round pick is in the top 40 picks, then Denver shall convey their own 2014 2nd round pick to Phoenix via The L.A. Lakers unconditionally. [Denver - Los Angeles Lakers, 6/24/2011 and then Los Angeles Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012]

Plus their own 2013 second round pick... and their own first round pick

That's a lot of picks for a "weak" Draft...

The ROCKETS (hmm doh! - i mixed up Rockets and Sunss lol) also could get Torontos pick next year which they got in the Lowry trade

As We Know Kyle Lowry Was Just Traded for a Raptors Future First Round Draft Pick.

The Pick Is Protected In a "Mirror" Like Manner Something I have Never Seen Before.. Very Interesting..

Quote: It's going to be a lottery pick, we know as much. Protected out of the lower 16 picks of the draft, in a move I cannot recall a mirrored one for in years of covering the NBA. It's also protected out of the top three next year, the top two in 2014 and 2015, and first overall in 2016. If the Raptors have a terrible time in the winnin' business over that span and luck out with those considerations, they'll also keep the pick. This is also where we remind you that Lowry has two years left on a contract that will pay him $12 million over that span (the final year the Raptors could even waive, should they decide to, and keep all but a million of the savings); a contract that might be the best value for production deal amongst NBA players that aren't on their initial rookie deals

    .

Houston Rockets Beat Writer Jonathan Feigen Reports (Via Twitter)..
Quote: "Rockets-Raptors pick will be protected both ways. Rockets won't get it if too high, but also will wait if Raptors season makes it too late."

Thats Crazy! Have you Ever Seen a 1st Round Pick That's Traded, PROTECTED In TOP 3, and BOTTOM 16? Lol. Guess Raptors Feel Like they can Find Diamond in the Rough This is a Very Unusual Conditions For a First Round Draft Pick Traded... Usually Teams Protect First Rounders They Trade In the Top Picks and Leave the Bottom Unprotected, but The Pick Is Protected In the LOWER 16 Picks, and The Top Is Almost Unprotected (Top-1-3 Up to 2016)

Suns are type of team that sells draft picks for cash.
    Find a new slant.

Yeah, their owner is the new Don apparently - surely that Lakers pick wouldn't be hard to acquire?

Gores could buy picks on Draft Day... but I was going to see if the Suns had anything to give for Daye.

Win-win for them if they give up next to nothing for Daye.
