Lions announced they have signed former Steelers and Titans S Chris Hope, and released WR Brian Robiskie.

Signed DE Israel Idonije / S Chris Hope. Solid depth signings.

Idonije graded out pretty well last year, but he's 32. Hope is also older but is likely better than the Don Careys/Ricardo Silvas that would otherwise be backing up Delmas.

Lions are probably going to carry 4 RB this year... Bush/Bell/Leshoure and one of Theo Riddick or Steven Miller would be my guess.

Steven Miller would be a better option at KR/PR, so I think right now he would have the upper hand with Riddick as PS'er.

Also, that Riddick/Miller battle should be fun to watch in preseason - I imagine they'll get a ton of time as the Lions will be protecting Bush but also getting his plays practiced often.

Especially since whoever wins out will be the Lions starting RB by week 10, given the Lions propensity to get fucking hurt in every key position.
