Why is it that every time I come here after (or during) some painful playoff loss by a Detroit team that's not the Pistons I have to see this typical Glan post?

Lions D got no pressure on Brees, couldn't tackle and gave up big plays. We need a better secondary for sure, but what about stopping the run? Is Gunther deserving of some questioning?

That and we got some bad calls against us. Someone should shove that line judge's whistle up his ass for killing the run-back on the fumble

    Payton's a bit of a douche.

Can't believe they'd run up the score like that.

Honestly, I feel the Lions are only going to get better.

    Long Live Lion.

Lions have nothing to be ashamed of, Saints are the best team in football. It just wasn't time yet, but with a few tweaks this team looks good to go.

Sorry that you don't like that I calls em likes I sees em, DE.

It's cool Glan. It's just when I've finished watching a painful loss I'm looking for more catharsis from fellow fans.

    sigh.

salary cap hell will keep this team from being what it could.

    that is all.

i get the whole "not their time yet" thing, but tough to swallow. i thought they played well enough to win, they just refused to tackle for some reason. i really don't like schwartz, but i got to give him credit, blowing the whistle on that defensive touchdown followed by them spotting the ball for the saints about 8 yards further than it should have been got me pretty riled up. all season i thought his inability to maintain composure was killing the lions. he took that sequence pretty well.

I'm not a Lions fan, have laughed at them in the past, but really admire the path that they are on.

Just scanning twitter this morning, I see many Lions fans are less optimistic than I am. If you just want feel-goods, I suggest you avoid @kj1974.
