i thought it was a great game. sure it was ugly - but moke was on one leg and his backup couldnt even snap the ball. mattison's scheme was brilliant (only giving up 1 td). only someone like tbro could have seen the 3rd string making his first 4 fgs. i thought va tech was the best team we played all year.
people complain about the madden scores but when a game involves actual defenses they complain about that too. all part of the "whine-iffication" of ameria, not surprising to see bucky on the forefront!
did msu play in a bowl game? since no one, and i mean NO ONE is talking about them, i am guessing no?

Pretty much everyone who doesn't have their head up their ass understands MSU is far superior to UM.

At this point in the season, it really matters.

Its about perception. Anyone who perceives UM as nothing more than a bullshit team with a good defense needs their head examined. VaTech is an average ACC (yes, I said ACC) team at best. UGA would beat VaTech and UM like a drum, as would MSU. UM has improved, but to be ranked where they are is ridiculous.
Don't worry next season will start soon and UM doesn't have another favorable schedule. The rationalization after MSU wins its fifth in a row is going to be priceless.

But do the end of season polls mean more, or does this mean more?

And in the end, isn't your season judged on how good of a bowl game you got and if you won it, rather than silly polls?
