Wow. Pretty sure only 1 arm is still securely connected to the chair, and I probably left a little present behind too lol. Fuckin awesome game! Still wow.

Was also probably one of the better bonding experiences I've had with the boy. He just turned 3, so he didn't really know what was going on, but he was mimicking me the whole time.... "c'mon daddy, Red Wings high five!", "Red Wings bump!". Pretty awesome night all around.

What an awesome game. Uxka's right, a tight game like that is so much fun to watch.

I loved how the Wings played. Of course they got way more shots on goal but they got back to awesome Red Wing hockey. They played incredible team D, fore-checking the Sharks D, standing guys up in the neutral zone, back-checking hard...Our blue liners were awesome. And we cycled the puck down low a lot too.

Cleary looked like he was back in 08, Kronwall was all around brilliant, Flip was amazing. Datsyuk is the best player in the NHL and it's just as awesome to see other players step up.

And I loved to see/hear the Joe like that.

It was awesome just sitting here. Can't even imagine what it must've been like to be there in person.

It's not even seven o'clock yet and I'm already working hard at not thinking about the game.

My last thought is that I think that instead of an on-off switch, I'd like to think the Wings found an extra gear these last couple of games.
