i actually lived on the fullerton side, so i had to go round the bend to get to b-dubs. my building was 828 w fullerton, which was kind of a dump but great rent and location. had a mcdonalds, pita pit, bdubs, and a cvs within a flop wedge from my door, plus a red line stop and dominicks at the other end of my block. oh yea, and i spent a ton of time at my favorite msu bar, the gin mill... er... hi tops (*eye roll*). bucky would've really fit in well there. god did that bar suck.

When i was in college you could go to the alley windows of that building and throw a snowball or pebble or whatever at the right window and some hispanic guy who hardly spoke any English would come down to the side door and sell you a $10 bag of....something. The guy moved out eventually but when my fiend friends would get desperate they'd still go to the window hoping he'd somehow magically be back.

This was back when it was section 8 housing, I imagine you lived there after it was sold and remodeled a bit.

I'm quite familiar with that block, I lived/worked around there for years.
