    Malaise.

I haven't been this disinterested in the Pistons since becoming a fan in the early 90's.

I went from spending all day online discussing every nuance of the team and being a part of creating this site, to spending all day posting about sandwiches and poop haiku.

Thank you, Bill, Karen & Joe.

^ Exactly. We have a bunch of cap space and great young guards.

Somebody throw me a pretend Kstat quote.

That's what I've been reduced to hoping for.

I was thinking the same thing. I used to be crazy about coming up with new ideas for the team, but now it's just... meh... partially due to the Pistons' suck, partially due to the NBA becoming what it has.

I would still watch them a lot if it didn't mean having to find online streams all the time or pay a couple hundy for the season ticket package, but when they're this bad it's just not worth it as I've got other things to do...

The part about what the NBA has become rings true with me too, though I've watched quite a few of the nationally televised games. Personally I've never had a problem rooting for the home team when they suck. My problem is the way the Pistons carry themselves from Karen to Joe to Q to the players. Their agendas and negativity and general BS have taken a lot of fun out of rooting for the team.

It was fun to pull for the teal Pistons, even when they really sucked. This is not fun.
