Sabonis was amazing, even as a 40 year old with bad knees. Just ran a clinic in post passing. I imagine he was unbelievable in his 20s. Wish he'd been able to come over sooner.

Quick piece by VINNY which was a logo style of his. VINNY also did two letter throw up's by the name of FI 2.

Monroe+Jonas, we go from poor rebounding team to above average

Right now, I would compare Monroe to Jeff Foster. He's an above average rebounder who plays decent D with limited offense. I think that Monroe has the ability to have a much better offensive game but I"m not sure about his help D.

And this is what I love about Joe Dumars - the guy obviously felt our scouts were fucking pathetic and something changed.

You look at Stuckey, Double A, Daye, Jonas, Summers, Budinger, Monroe... guys that could fill roles on good teams...

Somehow they thought Stuckey could be a starting PG on a good team... but I seriously doubt anyone would say he's not capable of being that 3rd guard on a very good team.

Time will tell on all these guys but I have to say Joe has turned around the scouting department in the last few years
    Rise like Lions after slumber,
    In unvanquishable number -
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.

I give Joe zero credit for Monroe. He fell in our laps.
