Nice to be back. Any trade where we part with our pick is a terrible idea. The nice thing here is that Joe can just say the boss has told him not to take new salary, whether it is true or not. I say try and get a first out of it. We arent contenders right now anyway, and it has been publicly reported that Melo wants to play with Rip. Thats leverage brother.

Holdup to NJ-Den-Det trade is that Den wants NJ to take Al Harrington. NJ doesn't want to b/c Al has 4 yrs, $28 mill left on deal.

It has to be a 2nd rounder as they are sending two firsts to Denver. I'm fine with RIP for Petro/Murphy and a 2nd. Clears some salary.

The rumors mention Denver doesn't need Harris because they have Lawson (and Billups might end up back there anyway). Why can't we take Harris and they send Murphy to Denver? We could move Stuckey for a big and have Harris/Bynum and BG/Daye at the guard spots long term.
