    If "random minor leaguer" is someone that's never going to make the big leagues, why bother trading Robertson instead of just sticking him in the bullpen when you're paying 95% of his contract? The only thing I can think of is that it clears a roster spot.

    I get the impression that he was an unhappy camper. There were reports that he didn't like being used out of the bully in the past.
