Which would be more difficult: Finding a taker for Rip or Max?

Rip is a solid player, a quality starter, and a veteran presence, but he's got a much bigger contract and he's getting old.

Max has the smaller contract and he's a solid energy guy off the bench, plus he's a big, but he's overpaid for what he brings to the table because of his inconsistency.

I guess it would depend on fit. If you find a team that has an obvious hole and an expiring contract, then you could make it work.

Max can't even get consistent PT on a team void of quality bigs.

But nobody is likely to want Rip's deal, so it's probably Max.

I split this out of the Tay/JJ thread.

Rip can be dealt tomorrow for Elton Brand if Joe made a phone call.

Point is, there are plenty of worse deals out there than Rip's. AK47 comes to mind as well.

Yeah, I'm not honestly in tune with just how cost averse teams really are right now. I'm just basing it off the opinion that Rip is worth his deal (when playing) and Max hasn't been.

Dozens. Zach Randolph got moved, Rip can get moved.

Randolph is a big expiring contract in a few months, Rip isn't.

Not to mention that he's a big and 3+ years younger.

And he punches teammates (emphasis on the s) in the face, and has one of the worst winning percentages of any max paid player ever, and Richardson had one year on his deal, and Randolph expires in a few months if you mean 17 so they actually took on salary and years to get him, and he likes to smoke weed while he drives.
