Of course he's near the top in assists. He's dishing the ball to Garnett down low, Allen on the outside, and Pierce wherever the hell he feels like being. Stuckey would have much higher assist total if he were in Boston with them. Allen would be replaced by Rip, who is a machine when it comes to making assists. He runs around, catches and shoots. That's his entire offensive game.

I'm not saying he's bad by any means, just that he wouldn't have 9+ assists per game if he were in Detroit, and Stuckey wouldn't be getting 9 a night if he were in Boston. They'd just be closer. I'd still take him over Stuckey.
