I like your optimism Wil, but the Glad bag is such an advantage for them. They just won 3 straight there. Advantage Twins.

    Just curious...

will our pitchers be making a bunch of errors in this game?

I'm going to work from home tomorrow so I can watch this one. Don't feel good about our chances in that stupid dome.

If we make it, our playoff rotation is all jacked up. No Verlander or Porcello in first two games I would suspect (unless you pitch Verlander on short rest in game 2).

I would bet he'd go Jackson, Verlander, Porcello. Man, it sucks that Washburn did shit here...that Bonderman and Willis have done nothing but collect paychecks this year.

If you assume that Porcello gives us 6 innings tomorrow, who do you think relieves him?

Well, Rodney should be ok to close with the day off. Is Seay still hurt? I would guess him or Minor, but since you don't need the 4th-5th starters you could use any of them too (Nate, Bonine, etc). Bonderman would be back, right?

I would use the NL method and use a lot of them to create the best matchups you can (even if they only pitch to 1-2 batters). It should be even more effective because AL teams usually don't have guys used to pinch hitting like NL teams do.

I would think that, worst case scenario, everyone would be available, even Verlander if it was the end of days (extra innings or something).

I think Randy Johnson was used in one of these a while back on very short rest after a start.
