    I heard several national talking heads yesterday saying that this is stupid and that they feel badly that RR is being singled out for something that "everyone" does.
    Find a new slant.

    The NCAA, and college sports in general, is so fucked up. A coach is brought in from a successful program to revive an historic program, and is paid tons of money, AND is expected to revive the program in short order (2-3 years), AND to compete for a national title, AND TO BEAT O$U ON A REGULAR BASIS.

    Then, when he starts kicking some bitchy ass, working them to competition level, everyone begins to cry, and completely forget exacctly WHY he was brought to UM in the first place.

    This is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!! Only uM fans could think having half the fan base hate the coach is a good thing!!! I can't wait to see what kind of trouble Dick gets himself into next!

    Pencildick, for the last 13 years UM has had a coach that half the fn base hated. Don't let revisionist sentimentality fool ya: Lloyd Carr was as polarizing as DickRod.
