We'd either have Hunter+1st+Wilcox or Hunter+1st+Ben. Hunter doesn't make enough to stop us from getting one of the other 2.

Denver Nuggets forward Linas Kleiza is taking his playing career to Greece after signing a two-year contract worth $12.2 million with Olympiakos on Monday.

Kleiza can opt out of the deal after one season to return to the NBA, according to a source.

The Toronto Raptors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Nuggets all showed interest in Kleiza at various points this summer, but none were offering more than the bi-level exception.

Kleiza played four seasons with the Nuggets out of the University of Missouri. Coming off the bench, he averaged 9.9 points last season
    talk about being paid...

WALTHAM, Mass. -- The Boston Celtics are bringing back Glen "Big Baby" Davis.

    Davis

The Celtics announced Monday that they've re-signed the power forward to a new deal. It's reportedly for two years.

Davis, a two-year pro out of Louisiana State, was a restricted free agent.

After averaging seven points per game during the regular season, the 6-foot-9, 289-pound forward emerged in the playoffs, improving to 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
i wonder how much he got paid

Obviously not as much as Kleiza.
    Rise like Lions after slumber,
    In unvanquishable number -
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.

    Smart kid.

I warned people that shit like this would happen with the NBA not providing its own path for talented teens. That's your NBA angle.

Good for him. I would advise my son to do the same thing. Why deal with the limits the NCAA puts on your ability to work with your organization? Why risk injury (or someone catching on you aren't that good) when you could get enough money to put into an annuity and provide something for yourself from now into retirement.

Not saying these are the thoughts of kids making these choices, but they should be.

and living overseas will be an amazing experience for him as well as a great life lesson. there will be no coddling out there for him, you can be sure of that. how much he'll develop on the court is another issue. but it COULD be a very positive thing for him if he approaches it the right way.

It's like study abroad. He goes overseas and studies an area of career interest.
