Detroit needs a second sports station. I do like Karsh and Anderson, but the other shows on there are just pathetic.

Their show was much better before the switch to FM. Now they spend over half the show talking about pop-culture and beer (in which case there are better radio stations to get your pop news from than Doug Karsch).

I haven't listened to 97.1 (other than Tigers/Wings telecasts) for over 6 months now.

Mike Valenti is an absolute tool. It's like he takes a 'glass half empty' mentality to any Detroit sports topic. He's constantly pessimistic and is stubborn to the point where his opinion on an issue is right and can't be compromised when a caller disputes it.

He used to be entertaining and insightful, now he's just--- Drew Sharp.
