It's one of the top euroleagues and their coaches/training staff have already done a ton of good for him. We can keep him here all offseason, can't we? If he's in the NBDL, he's not going to be getting much time with our coaches/players as it is. He'll be spending his time with their coaches/players.

If they know he's bolting though, they won't have much motivation to work with him and let him play through his mistakes.
