Well, he can rebound AND shoot 3's, so I guess we shouldn't say that he's definitely not on Joe's watch list.

1995 Shaq... or is that also not considered "somewhat realistic"?

    Sorry dude.

I was thinking more like Boozer, Okafor, Kaman, Camby, etc.

Of course I'd take Bosh or Amare. If Utah would do Boozer for Rip, I'd take it. I would like that better than Booze just signing as a FA. Sign Gordon and Birdman.

    Stuck
    BG
    Tay
    Booze
    Birdman

    Or something like that.

i've not seen one good RIP trade proposal thus far...who needs an allstar SG with 4 years left on his deal and would give up a quality bigman?

the only possibilities i see are
Charlotte: Okafor+Radman for RIP+Amir, they shed salary
Indy: Murphy: but Indy losing money, i am not sure they would take RIP because of his contact...
Clippers: Kaman but only if a 3rd team is involed, they dont need RIP
Nawlins: Chandler aint happening, they cant take on RIPs contract
Philly: Dalembert is a mercanery, too lazy, too dumb ...pass
Portland: maybe for Przy+ Outlaw, but they've got roy at SG
Utah: RIP for Boozer ain't happening, Utah cant afford Boozer, Memo and Millsap, so why take on RIPs contract instead of paying Boozer?
    Wash: Haywood+ E.Thomas+ 5th pick ?
no chance at Bosh, Amare, Bogut btw...

i think it was z who said this but i'd do a amir/rip for biedrins/shitty contract or pick.

but that's only if we got a capable big to score downlow

    Let me get this straight:

People are against signing Ben Gordon and trading Rip for a quality big

    But

People are for trading Rip to GSW for Biedrins and a shitty contract?

I was never against the BG signing, just against the BOOZER one.

and by a shitty contract, i guess like Kelenna Azuibuike because the only other shit contact they have is cmag, and no one is going to take that shit.

A lot of other people don't want Gordon signed and Rip dealt, Cross.

    But back on topic:

How about Elton Brand IF Arnie checks him out and gives the all clear?

Rip goes home and we get a 20/10 big man.

AGAIN, I would ONLY do it IF Arnie gave the all clear. Arnie "fixed" Dice. He might be able to do the same for Brand...

    P,
If Arnie was able to fix Brand such that he would be a true 20/10 man for us, I am pretty sure we could get him for an expiring or Maxiell, since he is dead weight if he doesn't play for them.
