I'm sure he's already inquiring about the #5 pick. After getting a center, he can then sign whatever PF and G he needs to complement that center and Stuckey.
Why trade Rip? If we're trading with teams that want to get out of luxury tax, who wants him? We should be able to keep him and get a guy with small contracts and draft picks. Also, I think in this economy, we're stuck with that awful Maxiell deal for the foreseeable future.

I said Joe's plan in general should be to attack teams needing to shed salaries. Doesn't mean all teams with viable big men are in tax troubles.

Plus you can send RIP and Amir for a big making RIP's money and take crap salaries back that save that team money.

Say you took Mo Pete along with David West. You save them a couple mil right away and then 7 mil the following year.

You could take Banks' salary in a Bosh deal for example.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.
