I didn't lose respect for him. This is just a fucked up situation that he didn't cause all by himself.
He skills have diminished and he hasn't accepted that yet, but this years probs were not all his doing.
I'm glad he is gone though. It isn't going to work with him this year.

not surprised or mad at him. he simply isn't 100% and he is NOT suited to coming off the bench. i said it all along; his game is NOT suited to playing few minutes and having high production.
he needs a lot of minutes and a lot of touches in order to get in the flow of the game. that's been the case his entire career and it baffles me to think that people are viewing him as 'selfish' simply because he is incapable of playing a reserve role. he tried and he failed at it- why are people mad and/or surprised?
he is who he is. i don't think he's been at all selfish or a bad teammate. he's simply said he isn't suited to such a role and because of this he would rather retire than return to such a role. he is obviously frustrated with how he's been handled too which i can't argue with- curry has no clue what he's doing and iverson is frustrated. we have way too much talent to be THIS bad this year.
How's Curry doing? He has to have some sort of injury too. We should just shut him down for the remainder of the season as well.
