Everyone has visited multiple teams. Even if he thought he was the surefire #1, he'd probably still visit some other teams. You never know what could happen. Plus, I've heard many coaches/GMs recall their pre-draft meeting with a player after trading for them or signing them as a free agent a few years down the road. Just look at what Schwartz had to say about Peterson after we traded for him. He kept talking about the draft and how they had him rated way back when.

So unfortunately for the Lions J Smith OT and QB Staff have the same agent. So telling Smith's agent that they almost have a deal with Stafford prolly won't work out so well...but I bet they try.

So thats prolly why we hear the Curry talk again.
