Thread: 2009 NBA Draft

I'm not mad about Buddinger because he wouldn't have gotten minutes here (and I liked the players we did get). It would have been nice to showcase him in summer league and trade him though (could have gotten some good value there).
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

What could we have got in a trade for that dude?

Almost every team had the chance to Draft him and they opted not to.

What on Earth were they gonna part with once he ripped defenses to shreds in Vegas?

I'd rather have Chase over Deron Washington

I'd rather have a starting C but you can't always get what you want.

At the end of the day Joe actually managed to Draft 4 damn good prospects out of a "crappy" Draft. Color me super fucking surprised!

The 3 we kept look like they could wreck shop in the future and I don't just mean play rotation minutes. The praise for all 3 seems to be universal and while relying on the media isn't advised at this stage that's all we have.

To worry about the 3rd string SG (or 4th string if it goes Rip, Gordon, Stuckey, Washington) is really fucking pointless.

IF we were as good as a blowjob in the morning we might be able to sit back and whine about the 4th string players.

    But we aren't that good.

We should be worried about what our C rotation is gonna be, cause right now it looks like Kwame/Wilcox and that just can not be allowed.

Does the NBA have a mercy rule?

Maybe they can give us a Tyson Chandler Exception just this once and we can get his injured ass out of New Orleans for a future 2nd round pick?

Hornets save tax dollars, we get a dude that can actually play C, even if he's half crippled.
