Interesting.
Interesting.
Hopefully this spells the end of the Chuck Darby experiment.
Jackson is 36, but he had a nice season in Atlanta last year.
I read he's likely to be signed if he passes a physical. What's your source?
Well, he soaks up two blockers well. We probably won't see him in the backfield a lot at this age, but if he can keep occupy the center and a guard that lets Redding rush 1 on 1.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.
Lions.com says he has to pass the physical first...your right DRay...

There looks to be a nice crop of DT's in next year's draft class, maybe this could be a good 1 or 2 year stopgap so we don't have teams running all over us up the middle like last year... We still should look at a guy like Sammie Lee Hill or Chris Baker in the 3rd round this year, IMO.
I'm all for short-term gaps so we can use a draft pick elsewhere this year.
Worked for Atlanta & Miami last year.

Bobby Engram might be out at Seattle. Should the Lions pick him up if they go for a QB at #1?
