pretender, there is no way they beat cleveland and boston.
They're the only matchup vs the piston I'd feel good about if the playoffs started tomorrow. Pretender.
I say contender if they don't face Boston. They need to trade for a good wing defender (unless Bogans or Pietrus can check PP/Lebron).
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

Pretender.
Until Amway stops owning them, the Tragic will always be pretenders.
They still lack a bench, a 2 guard, a big man that can post up, a true PF, perimeter defense, amongst other minor flaws.
But if they can address all those things by the trade deadline, I might change my thoughts...
When I think of the Orlando Magic, I see them as the Golden State Warriors of the East.
The two teams are similar, except for the fact that Orlando plays a little bit of defense.
I think they are a pretender. Jameer Nelson in their pg and I just don't see him beating Rondo, Mo Williams or Stuckey if we played them. Hedo and Lewis are the exact same player. Essentially they play with 2 SF. They are both weak (physically and mentally). They are not as scrappy or forceful enough as Cleveland or Boston. Even when we beat them last yr in the playoffs Dwight was bothered when Sheed played him physical and Maxiell called him soft below the waist.
They need to add a legit PF who isn't afraid to play solid post defense or go inside the 3 point line more than 4 times per game on offense.
Their bench is an absolute joke.
