How does this effect Boldin I wonder? Might they switch their philosophy and go power running with Beanie and thus not need Boldin? I think he has one year left but has been asking for money for a while. I wonder if they could trade him for a decent QB. Maybe for McNabb? Or just a first rounder and take another QB. Leinart has 2 years left on his deal.

From what I've heard the Cards are going to a running game more than the pass. If they can run, it'll help ML's development too.

I don't know if Breaston can step in as a solid #2 WR. He's been great for them in the slot, though. They'll always have a passing threat because of Fitzgerald. I could definitely see Boldin playing elsewhere next season though. If they're going to move toward a running offense, now's the time. They've got a young power back and they're transitioning to a QB who hasn't shown much promise.
