We should've hung on to Buster Davis. He's penciled in to start next year in Indianapolis.

Remember the one thing they didn't like on Buster Davis? He didn't have the speed they wanted. Now, we're more concerned about strength than speed. He would have been solid for us.
We cut him because we had Dizon...................
*sigh*

One thing to remember about the Lions signing special teamers...another team's special teamers are this team's starters.
Find a new slant.
Lions had LB Angelo Crowell (Bills) in for a visit today. The Bucs, Rams, and Eagles have also shown interest. If he is fully healed from injury, Crowell could be a serious bargain for the price he's likely to go for. Hopefully Mayhew can make the right choice if he's healthy.
Yes, Crowell would be a nice addition to play the outside opposite Sims. He was a beast in Buffalo.
The fact that he tore his ACL last year probably suggests you wont have to pay him top dollar. Low risk/High reward.
Germane?

I think Angelo is his brother, no?Originally Posted by Gl'enn

Didn't Germane screw up his leg catching a pass in the endzone? For some reason, that's how I remember it.

Yes, Angelo is the younger brother of Germaine.
We had subs. It was crazy.
This offseason has gotten sour pretty quickly.
To think we had legitimate shots at Derrick Dockery & Jay Cutler, only to have luck go against us both times is depressing.
I'd rather that information not have gotten out to the public so I don't have to think of what it would be like to have both of those guys.
Not to mention the Ken Lucas turning us down and letting Bryant McFadden, Mike Peterson and Nate Washington leave Detroit w/o a contract offer, only to see them sign elsewhere.
Alot of missed opportunities the past couple weeks. Some weren't Mayhews fault (Buffalo blew the Dockery trade), but still...
