That's tough. I think they're both incompetent. Flip was good during the regular season, sucked in the playoffs because he had no idea how to make changes. Curry sucks in the regular season and doesn't know how to make changes, and he doesn't know how to run a play. Curry was also supposed to make a commitment to defense, which I have yet to see.

I would say Curry, because he's driving this team into the ground which means personnel changes are going to be made after the season. The Pistons will bow out in the first round, and Joe will have to blow up the team and start over. Maybe that's when he's at his best.

Oh, valid point Mo. Didn't think of it that way.

Flip. We'd have a 1/20 shot at this, which is better than 0.

Yeah, Dumars is going to admit he made a mistake by hiring a coach with no NBA coaching experience and bring in a different coach with no NBA coaching experience.

    Wait, what about TOM IZZO?

Not sure if Izzo will translate into the pro game. I still think Laimbeer is the kinda guy who commands respect. He's big, mean, and a proven winner at both the player and coaching level.

The poll is incomplete without a "Pull the trigger" option.

I voted Curry. We already know the Flip Saunders era had plateaued.
