I still think he's a cartoon. No way is he real.

Sorry champ, but that one falls into the left wing camp. Hilter was leader of a socialist workers party, (and an emo painter) who turned a republic into a massively centralized bureaucracy/authoritarian state.Originally Posted by Mr. Oobir

As for Obama, until congress starts taking power back form the presidency, all presidents from now on have dicator power.
Abortion + whatever wars we get into may not come as closs as the holocaust, but it should be a nice large number of death.
Hype?
^ Stop reading Jonah Goldberg. He's terrible and all kinds of wrong. Fascism isn't left-wing. It's not exactly right-wing but it's far closer to the right-wing then the left.
Also, Hitler used the Socialist party to get into power but every credible historian will tell you he wasn't a socialist. Hitler abolished unions, didn't really redistribute land as is the typically Communist or Socialist fashion (they didn't seem to care who "owned" property, or that it was owned at all, as long as the owners conformed to state directed goals), fixed profits rather then eliminating them or mandating their distribution to the workers (profit sharing), and was fixated on rewriting history to orient the German "race" under the Nazis as the third great empire of modern Europe (Third Reich) rather than a struggle for the equalization of people's power via the reclamation of the "modes of production".
The National Socialist's (Nazis) began as a movement that preached land redistribution, the elimination of capital gains, and the whole nine yards, and while Hitler speaks to that in some of his public addresses and campaigning, in power the guy was a fascist and Mein Kamptf is a racial call to arms, not a socialist one.
STEW BEEF!
I was venting.
I'm done now.
Now we are equating gassing millions of living people to not taking away people's free choice to abort an unborn baby?
This thread is officially ruined. Great job Wil
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.
I can't even begin to imagine the amount of public urination that is going to take place tomorrow.

Lincoln freed the slaves. Blacks were predominantly Republican -- big shock there. Heck, the first black Senator was a Republican in 1870 in Mississippi. FDR did the New Deal. Then, Blacks leaned Democratic, similarly to how women lean Democratic. Notably, there was significant variation by state -- Southern blacks were Republicans. Then, LBJ did the Civil Rights Act, and the Dixiecrats abandoned ship. A new generation of blacks went WAY Democratic. A number of prominent blacks raised before LBJ stayed Republicans, though -- MLK, James Brown, Jackie Robinson, Ray Charles, Wilt Chamberlain, etc. even as their party largely abandoned them in favor of winning.Originally Posted by Wilfredo Ledezma
