Crenel fails at the most basic clock management in football. If you can't get that right, how can your team have any confidence in you?

I'm reppin' Jesus Christ and Conservative views....

Quick piece by VINNY which was a logo style of his. VINNY also did two letter throw up's by the name of FI 2.

Fair enough. It becomes an avalanche of fail if your mistakes make your players question your competence.

I haven't seen a name mentioned that holds a candle to Melrose.

Melrose was only two games under .500 when he was fired, right?

I'm guessing that his firing was more of a personality conflict thing than a poor coaching thing (although those are somewhat related, I guess).

Keep in mind two games under .500 in hockey is not the same as two games under .500 in basketball. Plus that team was underachieving like crazy. I still expected them to make the playoffs.

I wonder how quickly NHL2night will pick Barry back up. You know they have to be ripping him like crazy over there.

    Please 'splain.

Don't they both play about the same number of games? Aren't the qualifications for making the playoffs similar?

    Enlighten me.

Tamba Bay's new ownership is loony. Ask Fraserburn.

Yes, but bad teams can find a way to win much more often in hockey. There are lucky bounces, bad goals and different scenarios that help teams win/lose. Good teams will win more games than they lose, but even the worst teams will luck a good amount of games out.

    NBA Best/Worst Records:
    1. Lakers 7-1
    2. Boston 9-2
    3. Cleveland 8-2
    4. Orlando 7-3
    5. Detroit 7-3

    26. Memphis 3-7
    27. Washington 1-7
    28. Minnesota 1-8
    29. Clippers 1-9
    30. OKC 1-10

    NHL Best/Worst Records:
    1. San Jose 16-3-1
    2. NY Rangers 14-5-2
    3. Detroit 12-2-3
    4. Boston 11-3-4
    5. Pittsburgh 11-4-2

    26. Dallas 6-8-3
    27. Tampa Bay 5-7-5
    28. Ottowa 6-9-3
    29. St. Louis 6-8-2
    30. Florida 6-9-1

Not to mention if a goalie gets hot, he can win a couple of games by himself.

    Norv Turner.

First, I'd never hire a man who goes by the name "Norv".

Second, the dude has a track record of mediocrity.

Third, the Chargers have one of the most talented teams in the league, and they're constantly being outsmarted and outplayed. Hell, they might not even make the playoffs this year.
