OGT: Pistons at Bucks, Oct 11th

i know it's only preseason. but somebody is slacking if this is the 2nd time in 2nights i've had to do this OGT! it's almost like i belong and have a purpose in here now! lol

billups tweaked his ankle and i hope he's OK. better sit him until he's 100% just to be safe.

afflalo was on fire in this game. if only his offense could be this consistent, he'd be a star backup and not just a scrappy defensive hustler.

stuckey apparently had a great game too- 15 & 10 with 5 steals. j-max looked solid too.

i'm basing this strictly on the stats since i didn't get to see the game.

did anyone in here actually SEE the game? judging by the absence of an OGT i'm guessing not. i'd love to hear about it if anyone did though.

I would also like someones idea of how those two played if they saw the game, or even listened to it.

The stat sheet looks ridonkulous for stucks, and afflack.

Not much to discuss if nobody can see the game.

    I applaud your efforts, though.

Yikes, I just checked the box.

    WTF got into Afflalo?

It looks like both teams agreed that no defense would be played.

I listened to WDFN stream, and it sounded like Amir did some great things early on. It's a bit distressing that he fouled out, but at the same time, it looks like the game regressed quite a bit in the later stages. If he can consistently get 8 points, 8 boards, 1-2 blocks, and a steal in about 20 minutes per game, I'll be happy.

As for Stuckey and Afflalo - DANG. It sounded to me like most of Afflalo's points came from driving to the basket, which is probably a good thing. I know this probably won't happen, since he's Curry's "mini-me," but if Afflalo keeps this up he could be a big piece in a trade down the road.

If Afflalo picks up his offensive game this much in the regular season, why would we want to trade him? We might lose Rip to FA and Afflalo is already a better defender. So far, none of our starters have impressed me this preseason except for Sheed and that's scary, even if it is just the preseason.

AA is about 10 mil less a year right now too.

Not saying his production will be what Rips is and if AA gets a bigger role here, JoeD will need to pony up, but AA is fairly cheap for the next couple, three years.

I wish we could lose Chauncey to free agency.
