TRRW is talking about returning to Texas, again. I can only assume he isn't dreaming of playing for Houston. Cowboys would need to rework some salary to make it work if I'm correct, but the Lions should make it happen. You guys can have any 2 WRs not named Owens.

"The public perception will be positive when we beat the Chicago Bears in 10 days," Lewand said.
WHEN "we" beat DA BEARS? Wow, this organization means business.

I wouldn't want receivers. I'd want draft picks.

Lions haven't paid Millen since September firing

    ESPN.com news services
    Updated: October 26, 2008, 11:03 PM ET

After being relieved of his duties last month, it appears former Detroit Lions president Matt Millen is getting overlooked on payday.

NFL sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that the Lions haven't paid Millen, who reportedly is still owed $6 to $10 million under his contract which runs until 2010, since he was fired Sept. 24.

According to those sources, the Lions are trying to get Millen to settle for an amount less than what he is owed. Millen currently has no plan to file a grievance against the Lions as both sides are exploring a settlement.

Millen won Super Bowls as a linebacker and was an acclaimed TV analyst, but had no front-office experience when he was hired in Detroit. Millen's teams won a league-low 31 games from the time he took over the Lions in 2001.
