Thread: Pistons draft thread

  1. #1

    Pistons draft thread

See now I probably shouldn't have chosen the Pistons... there will be too much analysis with whoever I choose

Anyway, Detroit has picks #29 and #59

    Roster
    Sheed/Samb
    McDyess/Maxiell/Amir
    Prince
    Hamilton/Afflalo
    Billups/Stuckey

    Free agents
    Fabio
    Ratliff
    Hunter
    Dixon
    Hayes

    Bad contracts
    Billups could be pretty soon

#29 it will be BPA out of C and SF
#59 will be... well whatever name stands out.

Not looking to draft guards or undersized players... Rebounding and hustle are +'s

We are very interested in moving up to #12-15 or #19-21...

Lucky I didn't trade up to get Thompson! This is the guy I wanted all along...

Would the Pistons still go with Thompson with Batum still on the board? (even with the possible heart problem)

I am really starting to like Hardin...However, I would like to see the picks included in a deal to grab Melo somehow...

TBH, I wanted Thompson all along and never even looked into the possibility of Batum... I never assumed he would drop so far.

He would be a great pick though - high reward, low risk for a late 1st rounder.

    Why Hardin over Thompson, Muhme?

id take batum, just because we dont have a backup 3.

out of the bigs, i would have preffered jj hickson though
