I bet he has saved his best motivational speeches for this year, though.
    Find a new slant.

7-6 isn't turning anything around when you played in the Big Ten, arguably the WORST BCS Conference last year...

Beilein = Dantonio = Bark, No Bite

Last year, Dantonio`s team only lost one game by more than 7 points and was in every game except one. Considering the past history of folding when faced with adversary and quitting after the non-conference schedule, Dantonio`s first year was a huge step forward.

Who cares, nobody remembers the final scores, they just remember that they lost to Northwestern at home...and that they lost to Michigan.

MSU Football = UM Basketball = Irrelavant

Wil, your MSU cracks are old. The only guy who can do it and keep it funny is Zip (and sometimes Glenn, when Tre is around).

Tre is back and is using an alias, but nobody is supposed to know about it so dont' ruffle his feathers.

The only sports fan that is that disinterested, shallow and uninformed, is you.

At least Dantonio has shown some success on the recruiting circuit. That's something that bodes well for the future of his program. Who is Beilein's signature recruit thus far? Zach Novak? Stewie Douglass? Some farfegnuggen from overseas? lol. Good luck...and here's a Snickers, it could be a while.

Dantonio showed success in recruiting where? 1 4 star recruit out of 21 signed in his first class? Perhaps you're counting people who haven't signed anything yet. You mean all the instate guys who found a favorable depth chart at Michigan State, or didn't fit the system run at the rival school? Ok, that's fine.

Let's compare Beilein, who also had a 4 star in his first class - that would be 1 of 2, not 1 of 21. And yes, he very much had to recruit Harris and Grady. His 2nd class is all 3 stars, and all three fit exact needs. I would not be surprised if that class beats State's class in terms of impact on the team. There are other obvious reasons for that, but nonetheless it's amazing to see how you can rip someone's recruiting based on guys you've never seen play. Feel free to rip that a few years from now. But I'm pretty sure one of his recruits just outplayed everyone in State's heralded freshman class - at least that's what the Big Ten coaches agreed upon.

He also recruited Lucas-Perry, another top 150 player from the class of 07. That gives him 3 top 150's from that class, along with 3 three stars and a Euro player who hasn't been evaluated to be ranked in comparison to high school talent, but should fit another need.

I don't know that you can safely say, based on talent that has signed, that Dantonio has had more recruiting success than Beilein.
We had subs. It was crazy.

You just get more and more ridiculous. Or, to use your vernacular, more of a slappy. Please provide a link to the bolded portion of your post.

Also, Dantonio`s 2009 recruiting class is off to a great start (six 4 star recruits). Whereas, Bielein has one 3 star recruit. I don`t think even blue and yellow math can help you out there.

Look, Jethro, I realize you put a lot of yourself into UM sports for many very sad reasons. But, seriously, posts like the one above just really make you seem pathetic, utterly pathetic.
