What you do, Wil, is take a deep breath and let it go. Works wonders.

It's probably because I don't have a girlfriend right now. The last 3 seasons, when we lost I had a GF, so my stress level is down about 50% then it has been the prior 3 yrs...

    4 points
    2-12 shooting (0-6 from 3)

I'd tell you to guess who, but it's too obvious.

I'm sure Rasheed took KG out for a nice steak dinner after the game, then blew him in the backseat.

I wasn't saying that, just that some people are pissed the team didn't accomplish more and I agree that more could have been accomplished.. but it hasn't been a bad ride either. More directly, the argument than the team has 6 straight ECF appearances with 1 ring is a bad thing but there are much shittier ways to go about winning 1 ring. I'll take the generally successful approach to the one year wonder approch.

Jon Barry: "This is like the Atlanta Braves of the NBA."

I can't remember who it was that made that comparison in this thread.

time for sheed to go. and tay!

    period. end of story.

I've had enough of his mouth and his inconsistent play. trade him to the bobcats to reunite his ass with larry brown, and see if maybe we can steal away emeka. (wishful thinking)

or maybe a sign and trade with the clippers for elton brand. again, (wishful thinking)

if i were joe d, i would start by getting rid of flip, not that this was all his fault, but clearly the players dont listen nore do they respect him. and then get rid of sheed and or tay prince. (another inconsistent player through out his tenure here in detroit.) prince was exposed in this series. pierce dominated him both ends of the floor, each and every game. can you imagine what kobe would have done to tay?

we played some of our best ball in this series when flip went to the 3 guard line up. rip at the 3 stuckey at the 2 and billups handling the rock.

big changes need to happen in the offseason.

ill def be rooting for boston to bring the trophy back to the eastern conference.

2004 was such a great win, a really special championship I felt. I always hated that it was called a fluke. I always hate when people need to pan what is good and special to others, in this case my team's winning a championship. I really hoped the Pistons would have proven everyone wrong.

And mostly, I don't understand how it cannot hurt, because OUR TEAM JUST GOT ELIMINATED IN THE ECF ON OUR HOME COURT. Sure the team may be more dysfunctional than every American home combined. And sure they drive us nuts. But it's not every day you really get a chance to win a championship. It's still our team, the Detroit Pistons, and they got beat.
I'll tell you how in two words.

    Last year.

It was time to make a change then. The whole season has been about waiting for this series loss. They lost to a terrible team last year, when teams got good this year it was a joke to run the same team out there again.
