    The climactic scenes in Public Enemies were all filmed right outside where I work in Chicago. They took over our business and put the video crew in there and alot of the lesser actors (ie Yes: Leelee Sobieski, no: Johnny Depp). It was an awesome experience. They filmed overnight for 6 days and I was in there every night keeping an eye on things.

    When they showed the scene, I just kind of assumed this shit happened all the time, but when I talked to all the camera-men and shit, they were like ten year olds at their first movie....all in awe. Apparently it never happens, at least not with Michael Mann. Kind of cool.
