Swisher traded to White Sox...Pretty big acquisition for Chicago. He hit over 30 HR last year, and now he's going to play in the most hitter friendly park in the AL

2B- Ramirez or Uribe
SS- O. Cabrera
3B- Crede or Fields
OF- Dye
OF- Swisher
OF- Quentin? Owens? Fields?
DH- Thome

That's a pretty formidable lineup, if they can get some starting pitching and better production from their bullpen they could be back in the hunt like they were in 2006.

Rotation as of right now is

Buehrle, Vazquez, Contreras, Danks, and probably Gavin Floyd 5th...

That's probably not going to cut it this season...

Yup my mistake, I was going by what Linda Cohn said on ESPNEWS last night (she said he hit 35 HR's last year), should've double checked. Still a good player though, whos only going to increase his HR numbers.

Angels are actively trying to acquire Paul Konerko from the Sox, supposively dangling Howie Kendrick...

Not sure if the Sox need any more 2B since they have like 3 on the roster already, but my guess is they would put Kendrick at 1B

He's getting old as well. I wonder how many more 30+ HR, 100+ RBI seasons he's got left in the tank.

I wouldn't mind getting him out of the AL Central, he tends to enjoy hitting off Tigs' pitching...
