Favre and Brady have been winning in an era of free agency, which makes it much harder to sustain a dominant team (unlike when Montana was racking up wins).

I'd probably put Favre 3rd on my QB list after Montana and Elway.
OMFG...Bradshaw and Harrington equal? You gotta be kidding me. Bradshaw was a warrior. His stats and Joey's stats might be similar but it wasn't 'just cuz Bradshaw played on great teams'. Bradshaw got it done when he needed to, Joey pissed his pants when he needed to get it done.

I can not believe how much media attention this is getting. I guess I did not realize how popular he really was

Mike/Mike were saying this morning that some redneck in Florida named his twin boys "Brett" and "Favre" about two weeks ago.

I'm not a huge Caliendo fan, but this segment from yesterday with him as "Madden depressed about Favre's retirement" is really good.

Click on Frank Caliendo under "sound bytes": http://espnradio.espn.go.com/espnrad...Id=mikeandmike

The best part is the part about cloning Favre and the space/time continuum.

The drama queen hasn't filed his retirement papers yet. So the speculation begins.

Also, I'd like to see the name of this thread be changed to Brett Favre Updates.
