All of the examples you cited are professional sports organizations. UM is a university. And the simple fact is, many of the UM fans in the state of Michigan are only UM fans because the football team wins. If there was an NFL team named the Grand Rapids Giants that consistently won more than the LIons, you would be a fan of them. In short, shut the fuck up.
