Even better. We do a three team deal with Memphis and Seattle. We give up expiring contracts and McDyess, we get get Miller and Chris Wilcox. Part of the remaining exchange sends Lowry from Memphis to Seattle. Picks involved as well. I haven't worked out all the details, but it would put us over the top.

Dealing Dyess would suck, but we need the stronger presence from Wilcox. Including Dyess was the only way I could see numbers ever matching up.

Seattle would do it because they could get even more salary flexibility and add Lowry and picks to give them what they need to add this offseason to last offseason and become the best young team in the league.

It would be good for Memphis because they too would have incredible flexibility - especially trading Miller's deal for Dyess. It continues whatever the heck they're currently doing.

The only real loser in the deal is Dyess. If there was any way to do the deal without including him I would do it. Do we have exceptions we can deal to even out some numbers? As it is, Miller and Wilcox combined this season only make $14.75 million.
