I think Miner has minor league options left, so I'd guess that they'll use him one or two more times and then send him down.

Find a new slant.
As of May 31st..
Brent Clevlen- .313, 9 HR, 43 RBI
Mike Hessman- .294, 20 HR, 34 RBI
Mike Hollimon- .255, 12 HR, 19 RBI
Timo Perez- .241, 6 HR, 22 RBI, 8 SB
Casey Fossum- 3-0, 1.96 ERA, 48/19 K/BB, 0.87 WHIP
Virgil Vasquez- 3-5, 6.22 ERA, 38/10 K/BB, 1.68 WHIP
Rick Porcello- 3-5, 2.48 ERA, 35/14 K/BB, 1.14 WHIP
Fossum has plenty of big league experience, I wouldn't be shocked if he gets a shot w/ the big club pretty soon, he's dominating AAA...
Nothing new for Hessman, the guy's probably one of the greatest AAA players of all time
Gawd, Vasquez is terrible.
Is Clevlen playing in AAA with those numbers?

Porcello must be getting Tiger-esque run support.
We had subs. It was crazy.
By the way, I really wish he was at West Michigan, because they play the Great Lakes Loons this upcoming weekend and I'll be at Friday's game. Not sure who the Whitecaps have worth checking out, but I'll be watching closely. Alfredo Figaro and Jordan Kibler have legit pitching stats this season, both with winning records, sub 2.20 ERA's and sub 1.00 WHIPs. They've also got a 3B, Roger Tomas, who is hitting .342, but only 4 of his 38 hits have gone for extra bases. That team has zero power. As far as I can tell they have 25 HR in 54 games. Ouch.

He gave up a bunch of unearned runs early this year which can't be discounted. He's improved since, though.Originally Posted by Jethro34

Rodney also threw 2 scoreless innings in AAA, and gave up no runs...
My guess is Rodney will be back before Zumaya, but we should have both back by mid-June...
I bet Fossum and either Miner or Dolsi will be the ones to go to make room, all but Fossum have options left
Did anyone cross the plate off him?Originally Posted by Wilfredo Ledezma
