    They held on too long, just like we did.

    Most contenders do.

    I realise that it's hard to break up a winning core but in the best interests of the Franchise it must be done at some point.

    Better to do it when you can get the most value for your stars rather than do it when it's too late.

    How much value does Manu have around the league now? How much value does Jefferson have?

    Duncan has earned the right to retire a Spur if he chooses... but he also deserves the right to challenge for another title before he retires. Do the Spurs trade Parker in an effort to improve? Do they trade Blair or Splitter?

    I think they've reached the point that it doesn't matter what they do.... they will not be contenders while they have Duncan. He had a great run

    RJ was their greatest mistake. Every year that RJ is on their team is an opportunity for RJ to suck in the playoffs.

    At the moment, the Spurs are 33-14, first in their division, and just won a game where Tim Duncan literally got a "DNP-Old".
