I don't buy Phoenix...but Dallas, maybe even New Orleans, maybe a healthy Rockets team.

Plus, if Bynum can come back and play like he did before the injury, maybe even the Lakers. Don't count out a team like Utah either.

I dunno, I just don't think the regular season is the time for people to be talking about the Spurs being done.

Shall we lock this up then?

Fuck the free pass, call it as you see it.

    I say they're done.

THEY WILL NOT MAKE THE NBA FINALS, BOOK IT
    (as currently constructed)

Let's keep it open, so more people can bash the hell out of you offer their opinions.

I'm not burying them just yet. That being said, Horry and Bowen are going to slow down, and TD is always battling injuries. I wouldn't call them clear cut favorites in the west as you may have other years, but you still can't rule them out.
Phil Wenneck: The man purse. You actually gonna wear that or are you just fuckin' with me?
Alan Garner: It's where I keep all my things. Get a lot of compliments on this. Plus it's not a purse, it's called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one.

BTW Seattle snapped their 14 game losing streak by beating SA last night.

On ATH, Tony Reali called the Spurs "mediocretastic" and "the defending chumps".

    A bit extreme, I think.

Sam Presti was the real mastermind of this team, not RC Buford. So now that he's gone, the Spurs orgainzation is vulnurable to taking a slight nosedive...
