Tahoe, as a lifelong Michigan fan, I have ALWAYS rooted for, and hoped for the BEST for my Wolverines.

After the Big Four (Tressel, Stoops, Meyer, and Carroll), and Miles (who I still think would have beena better fit, but now I am beginning to understand), there ain't nobody better than Rodriguez.

I just never gave him a thought because he's a WVU alum and they seemed to be taking care of him, AND he has been able to get West Virginia to the big time.

I see this as a great hire. I think he took West Virginia as far as he could, and he will take Michigan farther. He'll be recruiting the best kids to a school that they WILL consider, and he'll be able to recruit for positions and depth, unlike what he has to do at WVU.

I think we'll see a modified spread, with more passing than he does at WVU, but it be interesting to see exactly what he will do.

There wasn't a candidate mentioned that I felt good about unless that name was Les Miles. Schiano, Ferentz, Sarkisian, Peterson, Groucho Marx, Randolph Mantooth, NONE of them. But I'm HYPED about Rodriguez.
